Intrastate and Interstate
- Intrastate calls are defined as calls that are made within the following area codes:
- 314, 573, 618, 636
- Interstate calls are defined as calls that are made outside of the previous listed intrastate area codes.

Peak & Off-Peak Hours
- Peak hours are defined as 7:00 a.m. through 6:59 p.m. Monday thru Friday
- Off-Peak hours are defined as 7:00 p.m. through 6:59 a.m. Monday thru Friday.
- Weekend hours are defined as 7:00 p.m. Friday to 6:59 a.m. Monday.

STE CALLING CARDS
Steelville Long Distance offers travel cards at the rate of $.30 per minute during peak and off-peak hours. These cards are widely accepted with any long distance carrier. For each call placed, there is a fee of $.30 in addition to the per minute rate. All charges accrued using these cards will be billed on your regular monthly phone bill.

PRE-PAID CALLING CARDS
Steelville Long Distance also offers pre-paid calling cards. These cards are very simple to use and have only 3 easy steps to follow. We have the following increments available:
- 10 minutes - $2.50
- 30 minutes - $6.00
- 60 minutes - $10.00

A monthly charge of $5.95 with a $5.00 set up fee will apply. Rate per minute is $.25 for peak and off-peak periods
